Thursday 12 March 2026 Philharmonia Orchestra at the Marlowe Theatre KS2 went on a trip to the Marlowe Theatre to see the Philharmonia Orchestra. The amazing Philharmonia Orchestra were celebrating their birthday of 80 years! We enjoyed listening to the music and we even got to join in!

Sunday 8 March 2026 World Book Day 2026 What wonderful costumes the children of Penguin Class wore for World Book Day. We were lucky enough to take part in a live lesson to create a fantasy story.

Wednesday 4 March 2026 Visit from Japanese students Today we had some Japanese students visit our school! We shared our learning with them in the morning and in the afternoon they led us in workshops and taught us how to: write our names in Japanese, make Origami and speak some Japanese phrases. We had so much fun!

Wednesday 25 February 2026 Science - How can I explain that light travels in straight lines The key learning points to this lesson was to understand that light travels in straight lines, and know the light travels out from a source of light in all directions.

Friday 13 February 2026 DT How can I evaluate meals and consider if they contribute towards a balanced diet.? After the children prepared the seasonal vegetables, the children eagerly waited for the cooking to commence. When the ingredients were ready, they were blended into a thick soup and the children were able to evaluate their creations with others by tasting, sharing and offering feedback.
