Visit from Our Local PCSO – Staying Safe and Respecting Boundaries
This week, we were pleased to welcome our local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) to school, who spoke to pupils about the importance of staying safe in the community and the dangers of trespassing.
During the visit, the PCSO explained what trespassing means and why it can be dangerous, particularly around places such as schools, construction sites, railway lines, and private property. Pupils learned about the serious risks involved, including the potential for injury, as well as the legal consequences that can follow.
The session also encouraged pupils to make positive choices, think carefully about peer pressure, and understand the importance of respecting other people’s property and safety rules. Pupils were able to ask questions and showed excellent engagement throughout the discussion
