Geography - Using a map, can I find out some of the characteristics of the UK?

We have been building on our Atlas skills and finding out some of the characteristics of the UK including the climate and weather, if there are any mountains and the famous landmarks. We have noticed that the UK is an island which will help us in our next few Geography lessons as we explore the world further.
