Good morning Giraffe Class! Day 3 of remote learning....we didn't think term 3 was going to start like this! I am really looking forward to seeing you all for our Panto trip on Friday. Please ensure that your parents have either completed the weduc form or bring the paper form with you if you haven't handed it back to the office.

Spelling - Using this weeks spelling words - write your own sentence for each one ... remember your punctuation!

Reading - How can I retrieve information from a text? Complete a Roman reading comprehension (again write out the answers and remember they do not need to be full sentences.)

Writing - Can I write a short story?  The first Roman lighthouse (which is still standing!) can be found next to the Chapel of Dover Castle. Write your own short story based upon a lighthouse. Use the clip below to inspire your adventure story. Think carefully about your punctuation and how you are going to hook the reader in with suspense and use of vocabulary.

RE - What is special about your journey? This term in RE we are going to studying 'Journeys.' We are going to be considering what happens during the liturgical year and our continuous journey with Jesus. Have a think about the favourite things that happen in the year for you! Draw and write about why it is so special for you. For example; Christmas, Easter, your birthday, a family member's birthday, special sporting events.
