MATHS: How can we use arrays to explain a multiplication calculation?
We have been looking at equal groups and arrays to explain calculations.
The children used little items such as plastic bugs, pegs, cubes and counters to explain multiplication calculations. We have been focusing on the explanations, not the answers.
