What an exciting time Penguin class had! We were lucky enough to re-enact (again) the embalming process of a Pharaoh. We also took part in the best embalmer stuffed animals' competition, where the children proved to be experts. We wrote our name on authentic papyrus paper in hieroglyphics and the looked at the ancient artefacts, where we saw the mummified cat, Egyptian jewellery, remnants of pottery and played with replica Egyptian toys.

The children really enjoyed themselves and the class trip was an exciting way to end this terms topic, Pharaohs.
